The song is “Everytime we say goodbye, I die alittle…”, meaning Darwin does not like me to leave him. He’s affectionate!

Bear joke? Have I missed something here?

I’ve seen only the cats Darwin and Einstein in here. No bears.

Where are the bears hiding? Perhaps on Wall Street?

BTW, clanton1934, this time you’ve chosen a rather sad song. Why does love hurt so?

To cheer myself up, and to honor your cat Einstein, I want to share this video clip with Einsten (and with you, too, clanton1934, if you are interested): http://humanistbloggen.blogspot.se/2015/08/the-atheists-deck-of-cards.html

I guess the real Einstein might have liked that show, too.

Talking of your affectionate Darwin (the cat). Maybe he is a dog disguised as a cat?

What do you think of that hypothesis? Pure BS?

Maybe we should turn to Evan’s dog Oliver (is he named after Dr. Sacks???) and ask for a second opinion?

In regard to Your hypothesis, my wife has always said: “The best dog is a cat!” Oliver’s name was inspired by the musical: Oliver!, based on Dicken’s Oliver Twist (I might have named him Dicken’s.

The bear joke (it concerns competition):
Two hunters were in a tent in the woods. A bear was rummaging their campsite, likely to enter their tent next. The first hunter starts putting on his boots. The second hunter says you don’t have time to put on your boots if you are going to outrun that bear! The first hunter replies: “It’s not the BEAR that I have to outrun!” (laugh comes here)

Your bear joke was o good one!

It reminds me of the nun who was asked by her abbess what to do, if a rapist approached her.

“Oh”, said the nun, “then I would of course pull up my skirt to expose my thighs.”

The abbess was about to faint, but at last she managed to ask the nun, “Why would you do that?”

And the nun answered, “I must of course do so, if I want to run as fast as I can.”
